Course description

The OPITO-approved Helicopter Underwater Escape Training incl. CA-EBS (HUET) is designated for people travelling to an offshore oil & gas installation with a helicopter. This training is the minimum requirement for most offshore companies when people want to bring a short visit to their platform. In this one day course we prepare delegates on travelling with a helicopter (pre-flight, in-flight and basic training on emergency procedures) and abandonment of a ditched helicopter.

The CA EBS exercises take place in water in accordance with the mutual recognition agreement between Oil & Gas UK (OPITO) and NOGEPA.

Target group

The OPITO-approved Helicopter Underwater Escape Training incl. CA-EBS training programme is designed for personnel travelling to offshore installations/vessels via helicopter for a short visit.

Prerequisites and validity
