OIM-CR (OPITO)

The OPITO OIM Controlling Emergencies assessment determines if an Offshore Installation Manager is competent to lead a well-trained Emergency Management Team during Major emergencies on an offshore installation. During the assessment candidates will be confronted with incidents that can occur while executing daily activities on an offshore platform. They need to be able to show effective leadership during major emergencies on offshore installations.

Using three realistic scenarios per participant, matching their daily activities, they are observed in their capacities in managing and communicating a crisis situation. The scenarios vary from fire, collisions, helicopter incidents, gas leaks, etc. The participant must manage a team of at least 4 people during the training. This team can consist of colleagues or actors that RelyOn Nutec can provide.
